Former Odyssey student, Ariel Wolfe, recently participated in a yearlong student leadership program called Quest, which culminated in a service trip to Durban, South Africa.  While there, the team of junior high school students and their leaders worked with C.A.S.T., a charity organization that runs the community programs which provide:

  • Relief Services
  • Education & Child Development
  • Sport & Youth Development
  • Local Economic Development.

Odyssey was able to provide a set of thirteen older tablets, that we were no longer using, to this worthy organization.  They will use the tablets to survey families in their homes and then provide them with a personalized action plan with the goal of eradicating poverty from their lives.  We are told that when the students presented the tablets, the workers at C.A.S.T. were overwhelmed with gratitude because this will enable them to capture the data quickly and efficiently, servicing more families in a shorter amount of time.
